I use it to save forms and upload records.
  • Easy to use
  • Accessable
  • Free
  • Save a doc
It is great for saving things. It is not terrible but it does not save Word documents as Word. You have to upload them again or use a Google doc. You lose functionality when you convert. Overall it is easy to use and the best thing is that the program is absolutely free

I use Google Drive to synchronize teaching materials for my professor. He picked Google Drive because it is free, and his Dropbox account had already full. Google Drive is probably not my choice had I been given that authority. It does not quite correctly present or depict the final deliverable files (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Other file-sharing services (or Microsoft's own OneDrive) would be better if you want to edit the deliverable files directly in the app. So, I ended up creating and editing files on their own native software app and then saving them to Google Drive, so my professor could review and download them.
  • Sharing files with other users
  • Editing files and working concurrently with other users
  • Synchronizing saved files with other users (after you and other users figured out how to set up the drive in your computers)
  • Free for the most part
  • Formatting issues with documents created (or edited) with Google Workspace
  • Setting up the Drive in your computer (for auto synchronize) is not exactly intuitive
If the requirements for deliverable files are not strict, and the space requirement is not large, then Google Drive should be suitable for most projects. However, if the format of the deliverable file is mission-critical, then you should opt for other file-sharing services or use Google Drive differently. Also, Gmail users seemed to have a better experience using Google Drive than non-Gmail users.

Excellent tool (product) we use for Chat, Mail, Drive, etc. several years of implementation to get data accurate with a single log in and share any document with our co workers and customers. Helped us to have a great tool to share data, info and surveys between our subsidiaries in DR and US. Easy and secure.. We use the product to Share Documents, videos, training materials and conduct surveys and data collection within the company.
  • Sharing documents, video, files, etc.
  • Create froms to performs some surveys.
  • Access to a whole world class of product and services.
  • Data collection.
  • Graphical Interface, they should change a little bit.
  • Copying forms between differents drives to an easiest deployment.
Incredible secure and reliable, we can share large documents, videos or any other kind that we are not allowed to do via email. Easy access no matter where youare from, you can be in Europe, America or Asia, and with a simple click you enter and solve everything. I can not really find something that does not help, in everyday life it solves wery well.

I have been using Google Drive for sometime along with several other users from my organization. It is great for downloading and uploading data very quickly. It is easy to use and integrates well with other applications. It's an easy way to collaborate and use information.
  • The application is very secure.
  • It's easy to use and integrates well with other applications.
  • Storage can be adjusted based on business size.
  • Quality of usage depends on the internet speed.
  • A gmail account is needed.
  • Free version has limited space.
Google drive is great when a user has to upload and download several files with different users. It is great for using along with other google based products. Google drive may not be great if the internet speed is too slow.

Google Drive has allowed both myself and other colleagues of mine the ability to access documents conveniently and efficiently regardless of where we are working from. It also gives us the opportunity to work on projects as a collaboration and see each other's notes and edits in real time, which helps everyone in terms of project deadlines.
  • Collaborative workspace
  • Real-time revisions
  • Easily accessible regardless of location
  • Some of the features in the Google Slides can provide more creativity
  • Connection issues tend to happen from time to time
  • There are no other features I believe would need to be added to suit our organization's needs
During a time where many employees have switched their workspace to working from home, being able to access documents without using a vpn or encountering a document that's being edited by someone else, google drive has become a necessity. Our projects require a lot of collaboration and constant proofing, so being able to work alongside each other and see the revisions and edits as they happen has resolved many issues for us.

I've been using Google Drive for over a decade personally and for over 5 years professionally. It has met my 3 most important expectations from a storage and synchronization service- security, access, and content management. The service facilitates accessing our files and documents anywhere and everywhere with the option to edit them. It has served as a reliable backup for all files. The speed of the file upload and download process does hamper the overall experience but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
  • Easy user interface: The service is very user-friendly. Even a novice can get his/ her way around the platform. The files are easy to segregate. Files of different types can be stored here and searched and viewed with ease
  • .2. Compatibility with various devices: The platform can be accessed on various devices- mac, android, et al. The search and filter features are really helpful.
  • Easy sharing: The files can be easily shared. The sender has the option to give appropriate permission to the receiver to view, edit, comment, or do all of them. The speed of downloading and uploading files is quite slow. The process is time-consuming. A good internet connection is a must to access a file that is even slightly heavy-sized.
  • The speed of downloading and uploading files is quite slow. The process is time-consuming. A good internet connection is a must to access a file that is even slightly heavy-sized.
  • There are limits on the size of the files making it a not so favorable platform for large-sized data sharing.
  • One big problem with the platform is that only those users who have Gmail accounts can edit files. People using other domains can only view Google Drive files. This can be a huge setback for organizations using other domains.

Currently being used as a way to store all work-related data in the cloud. Easily accessible from any device. Perfect integration with the Google ecosystem which allows to seamlessly open and share files with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc. This also allows for very easy collaboration between company members. Definite recommend.
  • Ease of use
  • Connectivity with other Google apps
  • Collaboration tool
  • Can sometime be a bit slow
People in a company need to collaborate on the same files. Google Drive allows you to do just that while keeping all data in the cloud.

From my academic institution, as a lecturer of Information and Communication Technology, I'm instructed to find a comfortable technology that will be helpful for all the academic and administrative staff to the covid time. Then I searched for many and finally, I suspected to use google drive for everyone's use. Being a teacher, I'm supposed to conduct classes every day according to my routine. For daily tasks, I face different colors of problems like preparing documents, preparing slides, and to store and share these class notes with our learners. As its substance, Google Drive is a staggering conveyed stockpiling plan. However, with time, and with the right skill, it can transform into a major convenience contraption for anyone, from understudies to business specialists. So, I need such an application that integrates all other applications altogether. And google drive helps me to do those tasks frequently. Since I am experiencing these facilities, I suggest my authority arrange a training session where I teach all my colleagues how to use google drive along with other applications of google using a single google account which is totally free of cost. Using google drive is like using a virtual Pendrive which was costly in my third-world country. My Institution is now in training on G suite for getting the most out of google drive, where our teaching and administrative staff can find detailed guides for all things regarding the use of Google Drive. Nowadays not only the departments but also the whole institution are using google drive as cloud-based storage and my institution is planning to increase its free capacity from 1 GB
  • Firstly, Cloud-based Storage facility.
  • Integration with Single google account
  • Integration with other cloud-based storage system like one note
  • Facility of using even in off-line mode.
  • Using other googles application like google docs, sheet, presentation
  • The quite simple working graphical working environment which is not having plenty of menus.
  • Its own file format.
  • Having a little bit more control and clarity over what is shared and how it is shared would be a useful improvement.
  • Could be more robust and flexible as far as assigning restrictions.
  • Google Sheets could be enhanced because Excel really is not there yet as a product with equal capabilities as there are still quite a few limitations to the functionality.
I will definitely rate 10 out of 10 if I am asked by a colleague in terms of using my Google Drive because Google Drive offers users 15 GB of free storage through Google One and it is enough for me as a teacher for my daily job also it is not limited to 15 GB only moreover, Google One also offers 100 GB, 200 GB, 2 TB, offered through optional paid plans if anyone needs to increase one's storage capacity. Files uploaded can be up to 750 GB in size.

Google Drive is the central repository of documents for the entire company. This includes work-in-progress pieces, finished documents, and operations documents including legal contracts and financial documents. We also store media such as videos, webinar recordings, podcasts, and photos. Individual contributors also use Google Drive to store documents they need in their daily operation, as they see fit.
  • Accessibility from the Google ecosystem of apps
  • Speed
  • Good replacement of a shared drive
  • Search depends on how good the user organizes information
  • Sharing documents requires 4, 5 steps, it would be good to simplify
  • Desktop integrations are not good, see Dropbox for a better implementation
The pros of Google Drive are the storage size and speed, and the peace of mind that the data is secure and backed by a large reputable company. For massive text-based storage, the search capability seems a bit behind considering the power of Google search in other domains. The ability to find effectively the document you are looking for will largely depend on how good is the titling and folder structure inside Drive. It does particularly bad when multiple folders share the same names

Our organization has been using Google Drive for 3 years now and our teamwork has become easier than ever. All our members can edit, save and share the information whenever necessary that too in real-time. Google Drive has made it easier to access and backup all the information within our organization just through a link. It's a time saver. We mainly use it for file sharing, assistance, and collaborative works.
  • secured file sharing
  • real time updates while editing
  • size of storage
  • easy access to file by every members
  • UI is a bit complicated for beginners it might be better if the UI could be a little simpler
  • There is no end to end encryption
  • Password protection for files would have been better
Well suited Accessing backed up documents online whenever necessary Conducting online quizzes for great teamwork especially during the pandemic Working together in a collaborative project. Less appropriate when you don't want a date stamp while making changes

Google Drive is our main cloud storage platform. It is used across all our network computers as we collate and share information and store it in Google Drive. We use it on a daily basis to store different information and work on different projects that are stored and being shared on Google Drive. We can create documents and projects and store them in Google Drive to share them with colleagues or teams so we can work on the projects together in a team but virtually from anywhere.
  • Store important documents for a long period of time.
  • Share information easily by a link.
  • Uploads your files easily on the cloud storage platform.
  • The uploading time could be a bit faster.
  • They could add more free storage for free users.
If I were to work on a project and I am working in a team in another city and some members of my team are residing in another city or country, we can work on a project together by uploading it on Google Drive. We are able to work on the same project at the same time.

We are using Google Drive for multiple purposes:
  • For management purposes, we are using it to share and collect documents from different departments on a centralized drive which is associated with directors' mail ID.
  • For students, we are using it to collect various feedbacks and documents when required. We are also sharing teaching material, notes, and model test papers using drives. For quizzes, we are using Google Forms which is again a part of Google Drive.
  • So, in short, in this pandemic time, we are using it as an office tool, as well as a learning management system.
  • First and foremost, you can use it to keep your documents online and download them when required.
  • Second, you can share the documents and can work in the collaboration with other people in a shared file, so distance is no longer a thing to consider.
  • You can collect reviews or feedback for any product or training in a very little time.
  • You can conduct quizzes online.
  • Reports are presented using spreadsheets as well as in the form of pie and bar charts.
  • UI is a bit complicated to understand for beginners who are not from a technical background.
  • Internet isa must, requires a little higher bandwidth.
  • One more problem is in public folders anyone can edit and delete the files created by other users; I think that should be controlled. A person can edit only the files created by him/ her.
Google Drive is best suited for general office work and it can be used as a learning management system for academia. It is loaded with all the tools required for both the field. Well, for some fields, some features are useless may be but I don't think it is less appropriate for any scenarios.

I've been using it for some time and it always helps me a lot in storing my files. A great option to download and upload very quickly. Very practical because it has easy accessibility and integrates very well with other applications. The interface is very simple to use because it has very intuitive navigation.
  • Availability
  • Easy to use
  • Storage capacity
  • Slow image loading.
  • Storage cost.
  • Crashes when loading too many thumbnails.
It is a very practical tool for everyday life. Whether for personal or professional use, it is a very valuable option for collaboration between people. It's great for those in the field that need access to files quickly or store files in the cloud. It has great availability to be able to access from any device and the integrability is also very efficient allowing you to interact with several other applications.

It is used by whole organization and i personally use it on daily basis. It is one of the most simple store which is capable to distribute with colleagues or seniors or any other person whom we desire to. Provide access and security of the application is really easy. I think there would be hardly any organization which is not using this product
  • One of the best product in its segment
  • Able to share large files in same size
  • Backup tool is also great
  • It is not compatible with competitive vendors
  • Sometime it take long time to open up due to size
  • Need to buy extra space
It is one of the best office tool. Share with someone and work never stops. You don't have to take tension of losing data in any situation. Also it is accessible form anywhere but with limitation that is does not support the yahoo or another vendor. Share file with clients before meeting

In my organization, Google Drive is used to store, distribute, and collaborate on all files with financial supporters, colleagues, and even customers we've built a front-end and simple board interface that allows us to locate every archive or document in under a second. It permits you to let loose space on your hard drive or other stockpiling gadgets.
  • That's the first cloud storage service that's both good and free. using more and more data in one place is, in my view, a good strategy.
  • Google Drive is one of my favorite tools and I use it frequently to store files, official documents, data, images, PDFs, and even short videos relevant to my office work.
  • You don't have to be concerned with hacking because this security is so secured.
  • [An] excellent option for searching.
  • Configuration and login are simple.
  • While using the drive, we need to be connected to the internet.
  • I realized that my data on Google Drive was uploading slowly at times.
  • For non-technical professionals, the user interface is a little difficult to understand.
Google Drive allows sharing all types of information with anyone with convenience. It's also better because the material can be easily integrated into the email. The protection is also excellent since you can monitor who views the information and what steps they are allowed to take. It also has a strong choice for data organization. Google Drive is ideal for exchanging huge files between members of a team collaborating on a project. It's still very dependable.

This app is used just by our department. We use this app to share various files with our employees. With the help of this app, we solve the problem of the need of a platform with which one can easily share anything one wants. With the help of just a single link, employees can share the same file with hundreds of employees, which makes task sharing very easy.
  • This app stores huge amounts of data with no problems
  • This app lets you share your files with as many people as you want with help of links
  • This app also contains a very good PDF reader, which is very useful
  • With Google Drive, one can only store 15 GB of data for free. Many other services allow much more data to be stored.
  • Google Drive's interface is a bit complicated to use for beginners. There's a good scope for simplification of the same.
  • The prices for more storage are much higher than many other cloud services, so the prices can be made cheaper.
In scenarios where not much storage is needed but a feature for the sharing of files with a large number of people is essential, Google Drive proves to be a great option to use. For example, if one wants to share some documents with a huge amount of employees in the company, one can use Google Drive without any problems.

Google Drive provides you with cloud storage. For the first-time user, they provide 15GB of free space. It is useful for data backup and file sharing among teams/friends. We also use it for saving our Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Photos, and all. It is really easy to use. It also provides you with a directory structure where you can make folders according to your needs. This is also a really good software for collaborative work with team members.
  • Secure and easy to use
  • Fast sync
  • Collaborative work
  • Free space of 15GB
  • Strong community and customer support
  • Low uploading speed
  • Searching is little bit slow
  • Time-based sharing can also be incorporated
It is recommended for data backup and for saving various documents or images that are really important for your organization. Anyone can access them whenever they need to. If data is not very important, then you can create a backup in your own storage device. But Google Drive will also save the cost of saving the data.

We use this software basically for storage purposes. People from every department use this software for storing their data and access it virtually from any device at any time. It is helpful for me to sync my system and keep backing up my data from my system. And since I access that data even if I am not in my office, it increases my productivity.
  • Being a Google product it is very well integrated with other Google services and I can use it with my Google account.
  • It makes sharing any data file very easy. One-click and I can share my data with my colleagues.
  • Dashboard navigation is very easy and quick. It does not confuse users.
  • Its offline mode helps me to work when I have no internet.
  • Sometimes I feel the upload speed is slightly slow even if the internet speed is fast.
  • It does not allow users to copy folders the way they can be copied with keyboard shortcuts on computers.
  • I am not very confident about the security which Google provides for our data. The way Google tracks users activity and provides advertisements, it's difficult to trust.
This software is very good at backing up system data. By doing this I save my important data and I can access that data from anywhere and on any device by logging in to this software. I share my important files with my colleagues through this software. After uploading my files on this software I share links of it to my colleagues and they easily access those files.

My organisation does not use it but I have personally used it so frequently.
  • It gives 15GB space for meeting our cloud storage requirements.
  • Integration with other Google platform apps.
  • Scanning documents and ability to work offline.
  • Download and upload speeds are slower at times. When the traffic in server is too much.
  • File size limitation are there, any images embedded in other documents cannot exceed 2 MB.
Google Drive is more appropriate in conditions where less physical storage hardware is available, but has good internet connection. It will suit well for remote working conditions. It will have little less suitability for storing highly confidential files, proprietary documents, etc.

We use Google Drive to store, maintain and share documentation about our department's processes and projects. It's essential to our business model because it narrows the communication and expectation setting gap with our teams and our customers.

With it, we can share project documentation and keep traceability of updates and with its powerful scripting engine, we can make some amazing spreadsheets that pull data from various sources to keep people up to date with company/project metrics.
  • Sharing documents/spreadsheets/presentations with other people.
  • Macros in spreadsheets/scripting.
  • Performance of complex spreadsheets could be better, it's still slower than MS Excel in some cases
  • No/limited VB macro compatibility
  • It's great for building presentations, documents or spreadsheets collaboratively.
  • Scripting enables more functionality than expected, including accessing data from sources external to Google Drive and scheduling recurrent jobs.
  • Sharing documents and information across different teams is easy, keeping all in sync it's even easier.
  • It can use in scenarios where a peer review is needed as well, making it an excellent tool for audits/revisions.

Google Drive is used as our hub of information. Documentation, such as contract templates, marketing resources, reporting, and internal-shared documents, are all held within Google Drive. It's an invaluable resource for our company, as we share and access data here on a daily basis. We essentially use Google Drive as our internal library of resources. Additionally, as a member of the customer service ream, I occasionally share google docs/sheets with clients for specific cases.
  • It holds all internal documentation.
  • Allows teams to access the same sheet to keep each other updated.
  • Allows client services and clients to have a 'living document' available (for specific cases).
I think Google Drive is wonderful, and have no negative feedback at this time.

Google Drive is being used to deliver video files which consist of both drafts and final video files. It has been used specifically in our video department for quite some time now. It helps us address the need to deliver files quickly and efficiently without needing to mail hard drives or USB drives back and forth, or posting videos to preview on YouTube.
  • Google Drive is very easy to use.
  • Google Drive is very quick and efficient.
  • Google Drive makes sharing files simple.
  • It would be nice to get more storage with the free version.

Google Drive is mostly used to access our documents anywhere we can use internet. Our PCs, laptops, mobile devices etc. are devices for access our documents. We mostly keep docs in MS office format, but also Google documents format is used to edit the documents through browser.

Thanks to Google Drive it is very easy for us to sync, access and share documents. Recently we upgraded to Teams Drive which allows us to store documents in central folders regardless of owner assignment. Teams Drive upgrade strictly affected document accessibility and productivity.
  • Google Drive has strong integration capabilities to any well known cloud solutions.
  • Google drive is is robust. You can access your files through any device.
  • Google Docs' collaboration features are great to compose documents together with your team members.
  • Privileges on file sharing is easy to manage.
  • Drive Sync provided by Google has some draw backs. Such as no selective sync, it is required to keep the files in a specified folder etc.
  • Number of supported file types through browser is limited. It is required to use third party integrations which brings security questions.
Google Drive is excellent for personal use, collaboration platform, file sync and access.
Google drive is not recommended it self, if team work is required. It is strongly recommended to upgrade to Google Teams Drive. Without upgrading to Teams drive it is still possible to share files with team members, but in this case if the sharing employee leaves the company file management becomes hard.

Google Drive is the preferred Cloud-based storage solution for me personally and my company"s documents, reports and etc. Through the use of Google Drive, I'm not only able to back up my company's document but I can also share and collaborate with various other stakeholders electronically and almost instantly.
  • Integration and back up of my data occurs seamlessly, I almost don't know Google drive is working in the background.
  • Storage is amazing I don't believe I will ever use all of the 15GB of storage. Basically, that means I can store and save lots of stuff until their statute of limitation passed and probably still have room for lots more.
  • Being in the cloud is a bonus. It means my data is accessible everywhere and any time once I have an Internet connection, I can take work home, share with my colleagues anywhere across the globe almost instantly.
  • File organization or categorization is easy I can easily create folders where I can store related file for easy retrieval.
  • The best thing about Google drive is the cloud storage and this also happens to be its greatest weakness for without an Internet connection it is of no help at all. You can't back up, you can't share. At that point it's basically useless.
Whether for personal, business or a student I believe Google Drive is the best option available for data storage and collaboration. There are free solutions offered by this service and it can easily be integrated on the desktop or your mobile using the app. As mentioned before Google Drive is the main (cloud-based) backup and storage solution used by me personally and my business.

We create and edit files on Google Drive and share files with business clients. There is no dependency on hardware and software configuration as we can access it on any device like tablet, mobile, desktop or laptop etc. Getting in touch with clients is very easy. We also create invoice and settlement files on Google Drive.
  • Easy to create and share files on cloud.
  • Easy to take backup in case we lost our device as everything stored on cloud.
  • It allows to store any type of file or document.
  • Instant access of files without downloading it on device.
  • It should support all types of text formatting.
  • Little bit complex to mange the sources as we don't know which shared location we have used.
  • Speed of accessing files depends on internet speed as their is no offline version is available.
It reduces the business cost as we don't require any costly hardware setup. There is no restriction to access files because we can access them from anywhere. It helps to increase the business clients at world wide level. We can store our daily routine work on it so that we can access it from any device.
